Well did we have a great kick off or what???
Over 30 people attended the launch event in Bracknell on Thursday. Some great pledges were made and lots of new networks created. Thanks to all who attended. We also launched the project social network site (still work in progress) at http://berksdlc.ning.com/ Go see the videos..
Shortly I will be moving my weekly blog onto ‘the Ning’ but don’t worry I won’t forget you and will let you know when I do.
Apart from the event, this week we have created a draft communication plan which will be circulated next week for comment. We also created a simple explanation of the project objectives and how they relate to our learners. Again this will be out for comment next week. We are going to share these on ‘the Ning’ so that they have the widest possible audience without clogging up people’s mailboxes….
We have defined the ‘offering’ based around the myguide www.myguide.gov offerings as these are what our learners tell us they want, and they have already been created. Now the real skill of our Digital Learning Champions is to bring the best out of these materials with our communities.
