Week 4 and things are really starting to happen.
The two big events of this week.
Charlotte Napier joined the project as the lead Digital Learning Champion and project co ordinator. Charlotte is busy working on the collaborative platform for the project and will use the same platform as that being used for the National project. More news next week
The biggest event was an open morning for the prospective Digital Learning Champions. We had a great meeting with 10 ‘champions’ from the communities of West Berkshire, Slough and Reading. What an enthusiastic and lively bunch!
Some great ideas and collaboration across physical and cultural boundaries has started already! We will be finalising the ‘menu’ of offerings and the implementation of the first phase of the programme in the next ten days.
Oh and by the way, don’t forget, the Kick Off conference on 12th November at Blue Mountain Golf Club Bracknell. For more details see Attend This Event
Next Week activities
Well hopefully we will get the OK from NIACE on the budget!! Expect the unexpected …
We are going to draft the communication and evaluation plan and publish it for comment
