Come and Join the Berkshire Digital Learning Champions

The Berkshire Neighbourhood Learning Centre Partnership www.bnlcp.org.uk has successfully bid for nearly £100,000 of funding from the recently launched Transformation Fund. The Government has made available £20m to support informal adult learning - learning for pleasure, self-development and community development and has awarded money to a wide range of projects all with the objective of seeing creative learning flourish across the country.

In Berkshire we aim to reach into communities and engage hard to reach learners and introduce them to learning for the first time. We have a small group of Digital Learning Champions who will work throughout Berkshire until March 2010 and we need your help to reach the people and communities most in need.

Come along and find out what the project is about and the role you can play. We are inviting all of the people we know who are part of the Adult and Community Learning scene in Berkshire, so I am sure you will meet familiar faces and hopefully some new ones.

We want you to tell us which people in your communities we could work with and pledge to help us get to them. We are not looking for any financial support as the project is funded to do this. We just need your help to talk to the communities you represent or know.

Book now and I look forward to seeing you on 12th
